Magic: The Blathering #5: My Grixis Midrange Deck

Last Sunday I managed my first ever first place finish at a sanctioned Magic: The Gathering tournament. It was Standard Showdown at my local game store where I managed to go undefeated, finishing on three wins and zero losses.

So for posterity's sake I thought I'd share the Standard deck list I was playing. It was a new build for me and this was only the second event at which I had played it, the first being the Friday Night Magic prior, where it had taken me to second place.

So here it is:

This being my first ever 1st place finish, I wanted to mark it in some way. When I made my first ever "Top Eight" at the last Game Day weekend I took the promo card and framed it. I thought I would do something similar for this and took the best card from my Showdown Booster pack and framed that.
