We here at The Player of Games love gaming in all it's forms, from the tabletop to the screen and anything in between. So I decided to set up a platform where myself and my friends could share our love of gaming.

For me it was an easy choice to name the blog in tribute to my all time favourite author; the late great Iain M. Banks. Taking the name of one his best Sci Fi novels.
